Philip Wilkinson, a Yorkshireman born and raised in Headingley, Leeds, has an enduring connection to his homeland. With an apprenticeship at Chubb Alarms in 1976, he delved into the security industry and later ventured into CCTV systems with CamEra from 1982 to 1986. As a technical director and co-owner of Stocks Security Ltd., a NACOSS company, he honed his expertise.
After the company's sale, Philip held board positions in various UK limited companies until 2008. Presently, he serves as the Managing Director of Online Security Products Ltd. Throughout his life, he has cherished Yorkshire, from staying at remote locations during his childhood to exploring the scenic dales and villages. Inspired by a televised series about a famous Yorkshire vet, he contemplates sharing his own unique experiences in the intruder alarm industry, including amusing, dangerous, and intriguing situations. His first book, "Tales of an apprentice intruder alarm engineer," captures his apprenticeship years from 1976 to 1980.
I am currently the owner and Managing Director of a security devices distribution company. Online Security Products Limited. We offer a range of parts, everything from CCTV to Door Entry, Access Control and Intruder.
